Images have now leaked which appear to show the outer shell of the rumoured “cheaper” iPhone. The images, which were originally published by Apple.Pro have appeared on multiple social networks and appear to show the plastic shell of the iPhone Mini. While these images can not be confirmed they do appear to show a cheaper version of an iPhone and have a design much like the iPhone 3GS with a plastic build.
If a “cheaper” model iPhone is to be unveiled by Apple in the coming months it will undoubtedly feature a plastic build to offer a lower cost than the iPhone 5′s £500+ price tag. It will also likely sport a smaller display with lower resolution and multiple hardware changes within the device. The leaked image does not reveal much and does not sport that “Made By Apple In California” for all previous models have; although, this is likely a prototype device if it is genuine.
The next-generation iPhone is likely to be unveiled to consumers in September and the iPhone Mini (or “cheaper” iPhone) will likely be revealed alongside its older and more costly brother the iPhone 5S/6.
